Fair Harbor, NY - Firefighters from the Fair Harbor Fire Department deployed east along the barrier island Wednesday, September 16, providing critical mutual aid support to halt an active residential structure fire threatening neighboring properties in Fire Island Pines.

Fair Harbor was activated alongside fellow Fire Island departments and several mutual aid companies from mainland Long Island as heavy fire erupted within a residential occupancy.
