Portland Crews Knocked Down Second-Floor Bedroom Fire

Portland, ME — September 1 — The Portland Maine Fire Department responded to a reported bedroom fire at 318 Brighton Avenue.Ladder 3 was the first unit on the scene and found no visible fire from the outside.
As firefighters examined the interior of the building, they reached the second floor and encountered smoke.
An All Hands response was called in as crews searched for the fire's origin.
