Station 12-7 Responds to Electrical Fire Caused by Mice in Milmay

On September 16, 2025, at 7:21 PM, Station 12-7 was dispatched to the Milmay section of Buena Vista Township for a reported dwelling fire. Upon arrival, crews encountered light smoke conditions on the first floor. The investigation revealed a burnt electrical fixture in the kitchen, with further inspection determining that mice had chewed through wires in the attic, leading to the fixture overheating. A total of 10 members responded with three engines.
