At approximately 1248 hours on October 23, 2025, the Camden Fire Department was dispatched to the area of 8th and Pine for the report of a dwelling on fire. Battalion 1, Chris Baker, arrived on location at 803 Princeton Avenue, a two story, middle of the row, ordinary constructed dwelling, and reported heavy fire showing and possibly extending left and right. First due units went right to work stretching lines and making entry for fire attack. Crews were soon withdrawn from the original fire building due to partial collapse. Crews made their way into the B and D exposures where they pulled ceilings and extinguished fire that was moving down the row. The Ladder Company from Gloucester City was added to the box on the all hands signal. Crews ultimately got ahead of the fire and the fire was place under control at approximately 1330 hours.
