Fire on the Third Floor Quickly Knocked Down in New Britain

New Britain, CT. - Police officers working in the area noticed smoke coming from a home at 426 West Main Street on the evening of September 15th. The police officers then helped remove the residents of the three-story home. Firefighters arrived to find a fire on the third floor and quickly knocked it down. No injuries were reported, and the cause is under investigation.
