BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (Sept. 11, 2025) — Bridgeport firefighters joined police, city officials and community members Thursday at fire headquarters to honor the nearly 3,000 people killed in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
The ceremony remembered 2,977 victims, including 343 firefighters, 71 police officers and 55 military personnel.
