WEST SENECA, N.Y. (Aug. 5, 2025) — Children had the chance to step into the role of firefighters Tuesday during a junior firefighter course hosted by the Vigilant Fire Company.
The event at BOCES on Harlem Road featured hands-on activities where kids carried hoses, hit training blocks and practiced mock rescues. Participants received certificates and prizes after completing the course.
Other attractions included a bounce house and family-friendly activities.
