LANCASTER, N.Y. (Aug. 9, 2025) — The Town Line Volunteer Fire Department put its new Truck 6 through testing Saturday after a week of mounting tools and equipment, officials said.

The truck made a short run to Station 2 to check clearance and handling before returning to Station 1, where firefighters trained with its aerial ladder.

Department officials said only a few final steps remain before Truck 6 is officially placed in service.
