LANCASTER, N.Y. (Aug. 18, 2025) — Town Line Volunteer Fire Department members conducted training Monday night that included helicopter operations and equipment familiarization.

Crews first took part in Mercy Flight Ground School, which combined classroom instruction with a landing demonstration in the firehouse parking lot and a tour of the aircraft.

Later in the evening, several firefighters trained on the department’s new Truck 6 to build proficiency for future responses.
