CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (Aug. 6, 2025) — Snyder Fire Department responded early Wednesday as a mutual aid FAST team to assist Cleveland Hill firefighters at a working house fire, officials said.
Crews arrived around 3:30 a.m. and later stood by at Cleveland Hill’s firehouse on Cleveland Drive while local units finished at the scene. Snyder Rescue 5 returned to quarters shortly after 6:15 a.m.
The call marked the fourth mutual aid fire for Snyder in the past week. The department previously responded to Cleveland Hill, East Amherst and Getzville on other mutual aid assignments.
