HAMBURG, N.Y. (Aug. 13, 2025) — While providing fireworks standby at Gabe’s during the Erie County Fair on Wednesday night, Scranton Volunteer Fire Company members refreshed their training on the use of a parapet ladder.
Fire officials described the exercise as an opportunity to sharpen skills during routine event coverage.
