ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (Aug. 10, 2025) — Firefighters contained a hay and equipment fire Sunday afternoon on Michael Road that spread into a nearby field, officials said.
The Orchard Park Fire Company was dispatched at 12:28 p.m. to 7581 Michael Road. The chief arrived to find a combine and surrounding field on fire and requested a district-wide response with mutual aid.
The blaze burned about 0.38 acres with a 665-foot perimeter before being brought under control.
Mutual aid came from East Seneca, West Falls and Springbrook fire companies.
