North Collins crews assist at Collins Center fire

COLLINS, N.Y. (Sept. 8, 2025) — The North Collins Fire Company provided mutual aid Monday afternoon at a working fire in Collins Center, responding with interior firefighters and fire police.
Engine 3 left the station around 4:30 p.m. with a full crew of seven interior firefighters, a driver and four fire police to assist with traffic control. Upon arrival, incident command directed the crew to stage at Collins 4 before joining interior and exterior operations.
North Collins was released from the scene about 6:30 p.m. and returned to service around 7:30 p.m., officials said.
