Newton Abbott crew assists at Lake View structure fire

HAMBURG, N.Y. (Aug. 26, 2025) — Newton Abbott Fire Company’s FAST team assisted Lake View firefighters Tuesday evening after a structure fire was reported with flames showing through the roof, officials said.
Hamburg police confirmed the fire on arrival. Newton Abbott’s team remained on scene for about two hours to provide firefighter safety before returning to service.
