LANCASTER, N.Y. (Aug. 17, 2025) — Members of the Lancaster Fire Department and their families spent Sunday together at the company’s annual family outing, a tradition that combines food, games and time away from emergency calls.

The event at Kotecki’s Grandview Grove featured a picnic, bingo, bounce house, face painting, balloon twisting and an ice cream truck.

Fire officials said the day offers a chance for members to reconnect with loved ones who support them during long hours of service, meetings and community events.

The department thanked its events committee along with vendors who contributed to the day.
