Garage fire damages home in East Amherst

EAST AMHERST, N.Y. (Aug. 3, 2025) — Firefighters responded Sunday morning to a blaze that broke out in the garage of a two-story home on Shady Grove Drive, officials said.
The East Amherst Fire Department was alerted at 9:23 a.m. Crews arrived to find flames showing from the attached garage of 273 Shady Grove Drive.
Mutual aid departments assisted at the scene. No injuries were reported.
