Tour bus rollover on I-90 injures dozens; East Amherst crews assist

BUFFALO, N.Y. (Aug. 22, 2025) — East Amherst Fire Department paramedics responded Friday to a tour bus rollover on Interstate 90 that involved more than 50 patients, officials said.
East Amherst’s paramedic fly car and ambulance were dispatched for mutual aid. Crews provided advanced life support and transported one seriously injured patient to Erie County Medical Center.
Dozens of other EMS, fire and police personnel responded to the mass-casualty incident.
