WATCH HILL, R.I. (Aug. 6, 2025) — More than 300 people visited the Watch Hill Fire Department on Wednesday evening for its annual open house and safety night.

The event, held at the station on Watch Hill Road, featured fire safety demonstrations, limited-edition shirts and coins, and a community meal with firefighters. Smokey Bear and other guests also greeted families.

Fire officials thanked residents and partner agencies for their support, calling the turnout “amazing to see year after year.”

The department announced next year’s open house will be held Aug. 5, 2026.
