KENDALL, NY — August 17 — The Kendall Fire Department responded to a structure fire that was reported on Bridge Road. Upon arrival, they discovered a shed measuring approximately 20 feet by 20 feet that was burning. Firefighters immediately started suppression efforts and worked to prevent the fire from spreading to nearby buildings.

Support from other fire departments was provided, including the Brockport Fire District, Hamlin Morton Walker Fire District, Murray Joint Fire District, Carlton Fire Company, Clarendon Fire, and Albion Fire Department.

The Orleans County Emergency Management also assisted at the scene. This mutual aid helped provide additional personnel and equipment, allowing the Kendall crews to focus on operations at the location.

The fire was brought under control, and surrounding structures were protected, which helped limit damage to nearby buildings.
