LYNDON, N.Y. (Monday, Aug. 25, 2025) — Lyndon firefighters responded Monday afternoon to assist a resident who had nearly run out of oxygen while awaiting a home delivery, officials said.
The call came in at 4:40 p.m. Chief Wilson and the department’s EMS lieutenant retrieved a fresh oxygen bottle from the fire station and brought it to the home. The resident, critically low on oxygen, told crews she had been unable to confirm a delivery from her medical supplier.
While firefighters prepared to replace the bottle, the equipment provider arrived with new oxygen tanks and supplies.
Lyndon personnel cleared the scene at 5:51 p.m. No medical complications were reported.
