WALTON, N.Y. (Aug. 12, 2025) — The Masonville Volunteer Fire Department joined the annual Heroes Parade at the Delaware County Fair on Tuesday night, marching alongside other first responders from across the region.

Eighteen members represented the department, earning second place in the sport uniform category.

“Thank you to all the volunteers who came out to represent our department,” Masonville fire officials said in a statement.

The parade is a highlight of the weeklong fair, drawing spectators who lined the streets to cheer firefighters, emergency workers and community groups.
