Shirley NY- On Sunday August 23, 2020 at about 6 PM the Brookhaven FD was activated along with Shirley Ambulance for a vehicle crash at Best Market 800 Montauk Highway. Captain Guiseppe (5-3-50) was first to arrive on scene and advised that he had a 2 vehicle crash no one was trapped and needed some speedy dry and minor clean up. Rescue 3 responded in with some members to clean up and secure the vehicles.
Shirley Ambulance Chief Marc Lampert requested 2 ambulances to the scene. 3 people total were transported to a local hospital. None of the injuries were serious in nature.
