At approximately 3:30 a.m., CRFD, Cross’ Mills Fire Department, Charlestown Ambulance Rescue Service, and Charlestown Police responded to a motor vehicle accident at Horseshoe Falls involving a vehicle that had gone over the bridge. First-arriving crews quickly made contact with the driver and safely removed the individual from the scene. A heavy crane was later brought in to secure and recover the vehicle. By 6:20 a.m., the roadway was cleared and reopened to traffic.
