At approximately 11 a.m in the morning all three Foster fire stations, along with EMS, were dispatched to a basement fire on Foster Center Road. Crews arrived to find heavy smoke conditions and a confirmed Code Red.

Firefighters from Stations 1 and 2 initiated the first interior attack in the basement, while additional crews from Station 2 and a Scituate engine gained entry through the rear bulkhead to support suppression efforts.

Thanks to the quick, coordinated response of Foster Fire, Foster Police, and the Foster Highway Department, the blaze was brought under control swiftly, preventing significant damage to the home.
