NIVERVILLE, N.Y. (Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2025) — A driver was hospitalized Wednesday after their car struck a tree in Niverville, an accident officials believe was caused by a medical event.
The crash occurred on Route 9, which remained open at reduced speed while crews worked at the scene, according to the Niverville Fire Department.
Responding units included Cars 1 and 2, Heavy Rescue 45, Engine 14 and 45-70.
No further details on the patient’s condition were released.
