NORTH TONAWANDA, NY — August 20 — North Tonawanda Professional Firefighters Local 1333 were called to the 200 block of Wheatfield Street due to a reported structure fire.

Platoon 4 arrived at the scene and discovered a small fire inside the building. Firefighters quickly located the source of the fire and put it out before it could spread further.

During the incident, one resident suffered second-degree burns and was treated by emergency medical responders.
