Chief Dana Cullen Jr., officers, and members of the Center Ossipee Fire Department (COFD) extended their gratitude to Jay and Christine Keane of Center Ossipee for their generous donation of 22 Rothco Tactical Ops windbreaker jackets, complete with custom embroidery and COFD patches.

Jay Keane, a retired district fire chief from Somerville, Massachusetts, and his wife Christine gifted the jackets to provide responders with lightweight, versatile outerwear for incidents and community events where full structural firefighting gear is not required. The new jackets will protect firefighters from wind and rain while maintaining a professional and unified appearance.

COFD also acknowledged Roger Kendrick at Boston Fire Gear for the exceptional custom embroidery work that personalized the jackets for the department.

“These tactical jackets are extremely versatile and will see plenty of use by our members,” the department shared. “From all of us at COFD, thank you Jay and Christine for your generosity and support.”
