FAIR HAVEN, N.J. (Monday, Aug. 18, 2025) — Fair Haven firefighters spent the weekend training aboard Marine 13, working to strengthen their skills on local waterways, officials said.
Crews operated on the Navesink and Shrewsbury rivers as well as Sandy Hook Bay, gaining familiarity with the area and practicing marine operations.
The department said continued training helps prepare members for waterborne emergencies.
