GOULDTOWN, N.J. (Wednesday, July 2, 2025) — Gouldtown Fire Company members conducted a training drill Wednesday focused on drafting water from a dry hydrant, officials said.
Crews used Engine 15 and Squad 15 to practice the operation, which prepares firefighters to establish water supply in areas without pressurized hydrants.
The department said such drills help maintain readiness for rural firefighting scenarios.
