Vehicle fire extinguished at Audubon Shopping Center

AUDUBON, N.J. (Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025) — Firefighters in Audubon quickly put out a vehicle fire Saturday afternoon behind a business in the Audubon Shopping Center, officials said.
The call came in at 12:26 p.m. Task Force 1 was dispatched, and Squad 1 and Chief 4 arrived to find the vehicle fully involved in flames, according to the department.
Squad 1 deployed a 1 3/4-inch hand line and had the fire extinguished shortly after arrival.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
