A three-alarm fire broke out in Fort Lee on Wednesday afternoon, prompting mutual aid from surrounding towns, officials said.

Rescue 3 from East Rutherford was requested to the scene at about 4:45 p.m., according to the fire department. Additional details on the extent of the fire, injuries and damages were not immediately released.
