Dayville Crews Assisted at Hawkins Street Fire

Danielson, CT. — July 27 — On Hawkins Street in Danielson, a reported structure fire with potential entrapment prompted the Dayville Fire Company to respond on a first-alarm assignment. 24 Hawkins Street was the original address, however it was later changed to 32 Hawkins Street. In response, ET163 joined other companies on the scene. During suppression efforts, firefighters used many handlines and master streams.
Crews received hydration and rehabilitation assistance from the Killingly Rehab Team, Service 263. At the scene, the Providence Canteen also provided assistance. During the incident, several Dayville employees worked at the station to keep the district covered for any concurrent emergency calls.
