Seekonk Fire Responds Mutual Aid, Joins National Night Out

During the first week of August, the Seekonk Fire Department provided an update on recent departmental operations. Engine 1, Car 1, and Car 2 provided mutual aid to Rehoboth in response to a working building fire on August 4.


Department employees joined locals, families, and public safety partners for National Nite Out later that evening.


Additionally, Seekonk firefighters have been answering calls all around the municipality. The department has logged 3,056 service requests thus far in 2026, and it is now on track to surpass 5,200 calls, making 2026 the busiest year in department history.
