Box Truck Becomes Wedged Beneath Railroad Bridge in Deposit

Emergency crews responded to Oquaga Lake Road in the Village of Deposit, New York, after a box truck became wedged beneath a railroad bridge. The Deposit Fire Department was the primary responding fire agency. Squad 22-1, Midi-Pumper 22 and Pumper-Tanker 22 responded as firefighters assessed the vehicle and checked for hazards surrounding the truck and bridge. Crews worked to secure the area and manage hazards created by the commercial vehicle becoming lodged beneath the railroad structure. The truck's operator was evaluated at the scene and was reportedly uninjured.
