Mutual Aid Crews Assisted at Rooftop Fire

Beverly, N.J. — July 20 — Hope Hose Co. 2 responded to a reported rooftop fire involving a vacant business in District 16 with Engine 1224 and Chief 1200. While firemen worked on the roof and performed overhauls, Engine 1224 helped finish hose lays. In order to assist with fire suppression, crews collaborated with nearby businesses and looked for any leftover fire in the impacted area.


Firefighters were in charge of hose distribution and roof operations as part of the coordinated mutual-aid activities needed for the response. Hope Hose Co. 2 worked out of Beverly's Broad Street and assisted other local departments with the event. After operations concluded, crews finished their tasks and cleansed the area.
