Three People Transported from Two-Car MVA on Route 9W in Newburgh

NEWBURGH, NY - Middlehope and Cronomer Valley Fire Departments responded to a two-vehicle MVA with injuries on Route 9W, just north of Route 32, on August 11th. Firefighters assisted the injured and checked both vehicles for hazards while also helping direct traffic. New York State Police and Town of Newburgh Police were at the scene. Three people were transported to Montefiore/St. Luke's Hospital by Town of Newburgh EMS. New York State Police are investigating the cause.
