Pleasantville, NJ - The Pleasantville Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire on West Glendale Avenue, arriving to find heavy fire conditions in a two-family residence.

Crews initiated an aggressive interior attack, working quickly to contain the fire to the building of origin and bring it under control. During operations, firefighters rescued household pets and ensured they were safely returned to their family.

One resident sustained minor injuries and was transported for evaluation, while multiple occupants were displaced and assisted by the American Red Cross. Mutual aid partners supported suppression efforts and provided station coverage, contributing to an effective and coordinated response.
