Newport Firefighters Contain Hotel Room Fire

On July 14, at around 12:30 a.m., the City of Newport Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at the Newport Inn & Suites.
In order to stop the fire from spreading to other parts of the structure, firefighters swiftly limited it to a single room. During the event, no injuries were recorded.
The agency expressed gratitude to the Newport Police agency and the Newport Ambulance Service for their cooperation and well-coordinated response.
