On July 24, the Attleboro Fire Department needed seven ambulances from Attleboro and surrounding areas to respond to five emergency events that occurred simultaneously within a 25-minute timeframe.
Four ambulances were needed for a car accident, and between 6:43 and 7:08 p.m., there were four different medical crises. Following the commitment of all three Attleboro ambulances, Rehoboth EMS, Cumberland EMS, the North Attleboro Fire Department, and the Norton Fire Department provided mutual aid assistance. In order to provide patient care until ambulances came, fire engine and ladder companies also responded.
In order to guarantee that every patient received care on time, department officials gave thanks to mutual aid alliances, coordination, and training.
