Vehicle Over Hillside Rescue Ends with Safe Patient Extrication

Pittsburgh, PA - The Penn Hills No. 7 Volunteer Fire Company responded alongside mutual aid units to a reported vehicle accident in the 1000 block of Lougeay Road involving a vehicle over a hillside into a creek with entrapment.
Upon arrival, responders located the operator and conducted a coordinated rescue operation to safely remove the individual from the hillside. Additional resources, including Penn Hills No. 7 Rescue 227, assisted with operations.
The patient was transferred to EMS for care and transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The incident remains under investigation by the Wilkins Police Department.
