July 6, 2020 – Southwest Greensburg, Westmoreland County – Firefighters were alerted for a reported house fire in the 400 Block of Chestnut Street and arrived to find a working fire. Crews went to work and began attacking the fire and opening up the roof. Crews had a difficult time on the interior accessing the fire but managed to bring the fire under control in about an hour. A second alarm was requested with an additional 2 engines and truck for man power due to high temperatures. No injures were reported.
