On July 25th at 5:45 pm The Lower Macungie Fire Department and Engine 7 of the Emmaus Fire Department along with Greenawalds Fire Company for RIT and Macungie EMS were dispatched for a dwelling fire at 5299 Brockton Court in Lower Macungie Township, Chief 30 was responding and was advised county radio was receiving Multiple calls. Chief 30 arrived on the scene and had a working fire and and the residents were out of the house. The crews from tower 81 and squirt 81 and engine 7 went into service with multiple hand lines and Air 32 was requested to the scene along with the Vera Cruz, Western Salisbury and Upper Milford Western District Fire Companies for Manpower along with the rehab unit form Macungie EMS. The cause of the fire is pending the investigation by the fire marshal.
