Concord firefighters respond for a reported jumper from bridge

Concord, NH July 22. Concord firefighters responded with a full first alarm river rescue responce to the sewalls falls bridge. The box was dispacthed at 1124 hrs for a witnessed report of a man jumping off the Sewalls Falls Bridge into the Merrimack river. First due Engine and Rescue 5 deployed Boat 5 rapidly in the Merrimack River near the bridge and went down stream looking for the victim. Engine 4 deployed Boat 4 as well and started a search. The NH Fish & Game, State Marine Patrol, and Concord Police assited with the search. The search was suspended at 1252 hours and no victim was found.
