Multiple Departments Respond to Beanie’s Bar & Grill Fire.

A police officer on patrol discovered fire showing from Beanie’s Bar & Grill at 58 Route 129 during the early morning hours of August 17, 2026. Loudon firefighters and automatic mutual-aid companies were dispatched at approximately 3 a.m.

While responding, Loudon Fire Chief Tom Blanchette observed the glow from the fire and requested a second alarm. Arriving crews encountered heavy fire involving the rear kitchen area and extending through the roof. Loudon and Concord firefighters arrived within minutes of one another, with additional companies subsequently assigned as the incident escalated.

A third alarm was transmitted for additional personnel and tankers. With water supplied from tankers and a draft site at a village dam, crews operated multiple lines to bring the fire under control. Mutual aid assisting Loudon included departments from Allenstown, Belmont, Bow, Canterbury, Chichester, Concord, Epsom, Gilmanton, Northwood, Pembroke, Pittsfield, Tilton-Northfield and Webster. Some reporting also identifies Barnstead and Boscawen among departments dispatched during the incident.

Approximately 50% of the building was consumed, while a firewall helped limit damage to the front portion of the structure. One firefighter sustained a minor injury and was not transported to a hospital; no civilian injuries were reported. The New Hampshire State Fire Marshal’s Office investigated the origin and cause. Officials said the fire was concentrated in the kitchen area and was not considered suspicious.

The three-alarm incident in Loudon, New Hampshire, was brought under control later that morning. The owners have stated that they intend to rebuild Beanie’s Bar & Grill.
