Exeter TWP, PA - The Exeter Township Volunteer Fire Department responded to assist the Oley Fire Company with a working garage fire attached to a residence.
Engine-Tanker 25 established a water supply by laying approximately 700 feet of 5-inch large-diameter hose up a long driveway, ensuring a continuous and reliable water source for suppression efforts. Crews also deployed a backup attack line to support interior operations and protect the main structure from fire extension.
Firefighters operated under torrential rain conditions, creating additional challenges including reduced visibility, slippery surfaces, and more difficult hose handling. Despite these conditions, crews maintained coordinated operations and worked efficiently to contain the fire.
