Smithtown, N.Y. — July 9 — A car impacted a house on Adrienne Lane, causing serious structural damage and cutting off the home's electricity supply. The Smithtown Fire Department, located at 100 Elm Ave., Smithtown, NY 11787, arrived to the scene. To remove further risks, firefighters guarded the area, steadied the car, and managed a gasoline leak from a damaged shed. There were no injuries among the occupants of the house.

The two car occupants were assessed by EMS personnel and taken to a nearby hospital. Assistant Chief Kelly oversaw operations until the Suffolk County Police Department, Smithtown Fire Marshals, and the Town of Smithtown Building Department took over the situation.
