Three-Vehicle MVA with Injuries on NYS Thruway

NEWBURGH, NY – On July 27th, Cronomer Valley Fire Department responded to a three-vehicle MVA with injuries on the New York State Thruway, southbound at mile marker 63.2. New York State Police and Town of Newburgh EMS were on scene. Firefighters secured all vehicles for hazards and assisted with injured parties. Town of Newburgh EMS transported two individuals to Montefiore-St. Luke’s Hospital. Fire Police assisted with traffic control. New York State Police are investigating the cause of the accident. One lane was closed during the incident.
