BROOKLYN, CT - At 8:02 A.M. on Saturday, July 26th, the Mortlake, East Brooklyn & Atwood Hose Fire Departments with Canterbury Engine 193, Central Village & Moosup FAST were dispatched to 12 Franklin Drive for a house fire.
Ambulance 590 arrived at 8:08 A.M. with smoke showing. Engine 190 arrived next and stretched a hose line. Crews reported they found a dog in the basement and quickly knocked the fire.
?The Brooklyn Fire Marshal's Office is investigating.
