On August 8, 2025, the Bridgeport Fire Department visited Hall Neighborhood House to educate local youth on fire prevention and safety, debuting its newly donated fire prevention trailer.
The state-of-the-art trailer, donated by The Hartford Insurance Company, will serve as a mobile learning tool to teach residents life-saving safety practices.
Residents will have another chance to see the trailer in action at Mayor Joe Ganim’s annual backpack event on Saturday, August 16, at 999 Broad Street. The event will feature demonstrations, opportunities to meet members of the fire department, and interactive lessons on fire prevention.
