BETHPAGE, NY - A reported automobile fire at the intersection of Hicksville Road and Iris Place prompted the Bethpage Fire Department to respond on July 2nd. On arrival, Engines 9055, 9044, and 9077 worked to put out the fire. As incident commander, Assistant Chief Ganshaw oversaw operations, ensuring scene safety and coordinating suppression efforts. There were no reported injuries. Before leaving the scene, firefighters secured the car, looked for any fire extensions, and removed any last hot spots.
